About us

As “Karam” in Arabic literally translates to ‘generosity’, the first restaurant opened in Beirut and hoisted the Karam name, in honor of the family and what they stand for.

History

In each restaurant, the Lebanese spirit is ever-present… The typical architecture and decorative details, elaborated in the finest material, are commissioned to Lebanon’s top interior decorators. Glass, aluminum and wood come together with Arabesque architectural elements to create a fusion between the old and the new, the East and the West... Indirect lighting and warm colors set against stone walls provide the warmth of home, while niches with glass shelves exhibit museum-worthy antiques that communicate a unique history…

The authentic Lebanese menu with choices for every taste, the plentiful dishes and the exquisite presentation combined with the top-notch service are Karam’s signature. For a delectable surprise, we also provide a “dish of the day” specialty in the form of freshly-prepared daily meals with a home-cooked flavor. Finally, our catering service, especially during the festive periods of the year, is an outstanding recreation of the Karam experience in any space, at any time!

And so, Karam extends age-old values and traditions from Beirut to the world, staying true to its Lebanese nature wherever it goes…
